General Information:

Bettas are extremely easy to keep and are a good fish for beginners. They feature an extra organ which allows them to obtain oxygen directly from the air therefor they can live in small bodies of water. Bettas will thrive in a community fish tank as long as there are no ‘nippy’ fish such as Tiger Barbs present. If more then one male is kept in the same tank, they will fight until one of them is dead.
